Second Annual Tip Off
The purest form of basketball officially returns to the streets of downtown San Jose with the 2026 Slam Jose! 3x3 Hoops Festival, now in its second year as one of San Jose’s newest annual outdoor 3x3 basketball events!
The hoopsfest style tournament features a 2-day, weekend competition powered by Hoop it Up, the most prolific grassroots basketball tour in the nation.

Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026 – Sunday, August 2, 2026
Time:
- 08/01: 9am – 6pm
- 08/02 – 10am – 4pm
Location: Downtown San Jose
Divisions: Pro Am, Men & Women, Wheelchair, Boys & Girls – U18, U16, U14, U12, U10
Registration: $250 per team
- Includes free Slam Jose! T-shirt for each player
- Minimum of 3 players
- Up to a max of 5 players on a team
- Teams guaranteed minimum of 4 games. Could play as many as 6 games
Registration closes on 07/29 at 11:59am.
Games will be played outdoor courts with a specific location in downtown San Jose to be announced soon. The tournament will also include a 3 point shootout, knockout and free throw contests.

Pro Am Men, Pro Am Women, & Wheelchair Champs Receive:

- Pro Am Divisions must have at least 10 teams competing to be eligible for cash prizes

About Slam Jose!
Slam Jose! 3x3 Hoops Festival was established to become a premier basketball event in Northern California. Our goal is to create the most accessible and competitive basketball tournaments for our local youth, community members and organizations. By attracting hundreds of teams and thousands of visitors to downtown San Jose, the event drives economic activity via urban vibrancy and promotes community engagement around sports, art, music and food. Proceeds will benefit local community organizations.
Slam Jose! 3x3 Hoops Festival is a partnership between the Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley and the San Jose Sports Authority.

Founded in 1989, Hoop It Up is recognized as the most prolific grassroots basketball tour in the world with millions of participants having played in one of its city-based events. Hoop it Up is owned and operated by Kevin Garnett's Big Ticket Sports.
